See the Goats!

Look below for a picture of your donated goat and the lucky beneficiary!  We open new centers every 3-6 months.  If your donated goat doesn't appear here, and you made a recent donation, please contact us and we will let you know when that goat will be gifted to a new center.

If you have not already, please consider donating a goat or center in the name of your organization, a good friend, your mother, or in the name of any other special person.

The world's largest goat!! We had a great trip from June 28-July 8 giving out 134 goats to new beneficiaries. We now have 51 centers across the country. See below for pictures from this incredible trip.

July 7, 2018 - We visited beneficiaries in Aboke, who received goats in January.  They have embraced the idea of a women's group, and meet weekly to discuss finance, goats, and other concerns.  They have used the group to start a micro-bank, loaning money to each other at a low interest rate.  This allows them to invest in micro-businesses.  They asked for more ideas!  A few of their goats have already given birth since January.

July 6, 2018 - Pader district.  We visited several more beneficiary homes today, this time riding boda-bodas!  (motorcycle taxis).  One beneficiary sold several of her goats to buy a cow.  Now the cow is pregnant and will give birth soon.   Another beneficiary is building a three-room brick home for her family.  She sells several goats at a time to fund the construction.  She always keeps a few in order to raise more goats.  We visited another school and hosted another soccer tournament.  Peter awarded cash and soccer balls to the winner and "runner up" of the girls game.

July 5, 2018 - Today we visited several homes of beneficiaries who have received goats in the past.  We were able to view their kitchens and gardens. Uganda is lush with vegetation - a perfect habitat for a goat!

July 4, 2018 - Opened a new center
